Beautiful Irish was too young to pass. She was about 14 but had a very tough life. She came to us from Canada as she was headed to the Canadian slaughter house. She was a racehorse in Canada and came to us in terrible shape.

Irish was terrified when she arrived. She had been moved from place to place in the week or two before her arrival and had been taumatized.

In the end her poor nutrition and hoof care for most of her life could not sustain her body. She suffered from navicular and laminitis. Our vet and Monika worked with her for nearly a year to gain improvement and we finally had to put her down to end her suffering. RIP our little Irish, our prayers are with you angel.
