Little Blackie

Little Blackie will always have a warm place in our hearts.  We got a phone call that he was tied to a fence and had been abandoned.  He was very elderly and not too many teeth.  He had severe arthritis and was immediately put on medication to ease the pain.  He was very undernurished and we immdiately had his teeth done to help him eat.  He started to improve slowly and we were careful to exercise him slowly to improve his movements. He was about 33 years old.

When we first received Little Blackie we put out a press release about his story, everybody loved him, he was just that kind of guy. Little Blackie passed away about 3 years after we had him, we are very proud and happy that we made the end of his to remember.  RIP our Little Blackie.
