Pai, was about 10 months old, an orphaned Wild Mustang.  His mother was killed in the Fallon, NV round ups.  Pai was headed for the slaughter when Villa Chardonnay teamed up with several rescues and saved a total of 22 orphaned foals.

He is best-friends with Kikapoo, another Mustang, and they currently share a large paddock. If you come to Villa Chardonnay, you can often see them hugging each other and playing. They both went to school at the Monte Roberts School in Santa Barbara. Pai took to his training very well and is now much more comfortable with people. We continue his training here at Villa.
